About Me

Greetings! I am Shamekah Shaw, the founder of AWEsome Wellness & Counseling, LLC. It is my mission to help individuals live a life of wholeness and healing in every area. I am a homeschool mom, lover of Jesus, and wellness advocate. As someone who has had to overcome and navigate many things in life including abuse, divorce, and burnout. I understand how intricately woven our lives are and have learned to appreciate being uniquely and wonderfully made. I have also discovered the powerful transformation that happens when we learn just how much we are loved by God, an authentic relationship with Jesus, and the empowering indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

I have been a registered nurse for over 12 years and an avid learner who happens to have ADHD ( so I am a bit different;) I have earned several other degrees, certifications, and training over the years that have given me a well-rounded foundation for the services I provide. But, above all of my education and training, I look to the wisdom and truth of God's love to provide exceptional and transformational results for the people I am blessed to serve. I desire each person I encounter to know they are seen, heard, and worthy of experiencing a life of alignment, healing, optimal health, and empowerment.

An all-inclusive wellness experience that includes 3 monthly 60-minute strategy sessions and an initial 90-minute intake session with me as your private holistic practitioner.
